Web Site Content Producer/Editor

The LobbyNH.com, a subscription-based web site focusing on New Hampshire business and politics, has a full-time opening for a content producer/editor.

This person will be responsible for generating, coordinating and editing the site’s content as well as overseeing its social media initiatives. The successful candidate will have experience reporting on New Hampshire government, business issues, elections and the presidential primary.

The content producer/editor will also be expected to drive readership by developing content suitable for delivery through multiple platforms including but not limited to email, mobile telephones and tablets. This content will include text, photographs, video, audio, podcasts, blogs and live interactive presentations.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent writing and copy editing skills as well as have previous online journalism experience and strong technical skills. Candidates should be familiar with basic photograph and video editing software and have experience using web content management systems.

The content producer/editor will work closely with technical, business development and marketing members of our organization. The ideal candidate will also have experience managing online marketing and outreach campaigns. These tasks require a strong attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines.

In addition, this position will responsible for developing strategies to adapt to multimedia trends and emerging publishing technologies.
